Role of the Committee

The ICC is responsible for prohibiting any form of sexual harassment against women and female students within the college premises. It ensures that appropriate measures are in place to prevent such behavior and that a strict code of conduct is adhered to.
To foster a work environment free from sexual harassment, the ICC actively promotes preventive measures.
This involves awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions to sensitize all members of the college community about the significance of respectful behaviour and gender sensitivity.
In case of an unfortunate event that a complaint of sexual harassment is raised, the ICC serves as the platform for redressal.
It conducts thorough and impartial investigations, respecting the principles of natural justice, and subsequently offers recommendations for suitable action to address the issue.
By implementing the provisions of the Act, the ICC contributes to fostering gender equality and empowering women within the workplace.
It aligns with the broader goal of creating an inclusive and diverse work.
